In 2005, Michael Gauci set out with a vision—to change the way people experience building a home. Having spent years in the industry, he had seen firsthand how overwhelming and stressful the process could be. He believed it didn’t have to be that way. Instead, he wanted to create a personalised, transparent, and seamless building experience—one where every homeowner felt supported, every detail was considered, and every home was something to be truly proud of.

That belief became the foundation of Michaelangelo Designer Homes.

Our approach has been different—built on honest advice, meticulous craftsmanship, and strong client relationships.

From the beginning, you will work directly with Michael and the team, from design concept through the construction phase and final touches. We take on each project with the same level of care and precision as we would building our own forever home.

More Than a Builder – a Lifelong Passion

I’m the son of a bricklayer, visiting my first site with my father when I was just five.

35 years later, I’m still captivated by the intricacies of the construction industry and the sound of dreams being built.

I started my journey as a bricklayer, graduating from TAFE in 2002. I graduated top in NSW for my trade.

I then completed my Certificate IV in Building in 2003, graduating first place within the TAFE.

I’ve been recognised by the Building Institute of Australia, awarded the Florence Taylor Award.

I’m fussy (just ask my wife!) – meticulous with everything I do. This has carried through to Michaelangelo Homes, forming the foundation of our brand.
